December 31, 2005 on 7:51 pm | In friends | No CommentsOne of my closest friends, Matthew Rothenberg, is buying a “goldendoodle.” (This is for his daughters, Sadie and Lilly, but I think he’s feeling magnanimous because he just was named Editor-in-Chief of eWeek magazine and online — a huge deal.)

And he arrived!
Hungry — as I well remember him from my childhood — Santa could not resist the delicious cookies left for him. (Credit for cookie decoration goes to Samantha and Marissa Kaul, in what we hope will be a Christmas Eve tradition of cookie-baking.)
